Our son Matthew has had a long struggle with kidney disease since he was in utero. He received a lifesaving transplant at one-and-a-half years old from an amazing living donor. Now, his kidney has run its course and we now have another amazing donor in the form of our friend, Melissa. She immediately stepped forward when we were hoping for a new living donor. We were just told that she is now officially his donor. We are so thankful for her love and willingness to help save our son.
