My Story

My daughter, Mia passed away on 11/20/22 due to a severe asthma attack that left her without oxygen for too long. She made the decision to be an organ donor when she was 15 years old. She saved 3 lives through liver and kidney donations and retired site to two people through cornea donations.
The bridge lights are a project started by my friend Angie Hagen after the passing of her daughter Justice in 2020, who was also a donor. Angie created the Love Like Justice Foundation in memory of her daughter. The bridge lights can be rented, so I rented them to raise awareness of blue and green day. The Love Like Justice Company posts information about the bridge lights and blue and green day on their Facebook page.
